JOB VACANCIES

Lively, fun, ‘sick’... these are some of the words our members use to describe Inspire.

Working with young people age 8-19 (25 with additional needs), we transform lives helping them be the best they can be.

Opening in 2018, we’re nearly 5 years old, and in those 5 years, we haven’t stopped learning, and we haven’t stopped developing. From a global pandemic to the cost of living crisis, we are there for young people when they need us and adapt to their ever-changing needs.

Open 7 days a week when schools are shut, at our most basic, we provide somewhere to go, something to do, and someone to talk to. Our ‘see it to believe it’ facilities give young people access to a range of activities, opens doors to a world of opportunities, and provides the perfect space to develop new relationships with both peers and positive role models.

Through our doors you’ll find; a 3G pitch, gym, sports hall, climbing wall, dance studio, music room and much more.

Inspire isn’t just be a place to go, it’s a place to grow. And that’s as much about young people as it our staff team.

There’s so many perks to joining our staff team!

CURRENT VACANCIES

VOLUNTEER WITH US

Inspire Youth Zone is proud to be inclusive of all abilities. We really believe in the value and power of volunteering. Our volunteers are integral to our success and truly are part of the team. They are at the heart of what we offer to young people – that’s why a culture of volunteering and an enhanced volunteering programme has been embedded into Inspire since we opened.

We couldn’t exist without our volunteers, and we wouldn’t want to either!

Our passionate volunteers generously give their time to support and make a positive difference to the lives of young people across the country. The diversity of their backgrounds means they bring a wide range of skills, experiences, ability and interests.

Whether it is working one to one with a young person or delivering an inclusive cooking session, you will help all young people develop the social and life skills they need to be an independent and confident person.

Skills Required:

  • Supportive and patient
  • Creative and fun in the activities you are involved with and/or plan
  • Friendly and approachable
  • A willingness to join in with the activities
  • A good motivator (getting young people involved)
  • Ability to adapt ideas

For more information on Volunteering, check out the various volunteering roles we have available and complete our volunteer application form.

We also recruit Young Leaders aged 15 to 18 from our membership of young people to support on our Junior Club and Holiday Club sessions. To learn more, click here!
