Break through your own boundaries whilst helping young people break through theirs

At Inspire, we’re all about pushing young people out of their comfort zones, encouraging them to try something new and get involved in a whole world of opportunities.

And that’s something you can mirror in your own life whilst fundraising for us.

People don’t sponsor people for their ‘every day’, people sponsor people for pushing themselves to their limits in aid of something they believe in.

So we encourage you to challenge yourselves, and raise money for Inspire in the process. Every penny you raise will go toward transforming the lives of Chorley’s young people.

You can transform young lives by fundraising in the local community, hosting events and competing in challenges sometimes without even leaving the comfort of your own home!

What are you waiting for?

To start your fundraising journey, just get in touch with Jenny and we will provide you with support every step of the way (we draw the line at 15,000 feet though, heights really aren’t our thing).

Community Fundraising
Unite in the community to raise funds for Inspire. Whether it’s your local football team, your school or even people from your neighbourhood – here’s a few ideas to get you started! 5-a-side football tournament a sponsored bake off bring & buy sales a charity auction come dine with me for charity non-uniform day a swear jar at work nominating Inspire Youth Zone as your Charity of the Year.
Challenge Events
Take on a new challenge and use that opportunity to raise funds for Inspire! Set yourself the challenge of learning a new skill, pushing yourself harder than ever before or even confronting your fear, all while challenging yourself to raise as much money as possible. Examples include: a sponsored skydive run a local 10k, half-marathon or marathon event a tough mudder/assault course event a weight loss challenge a sponsored walkathon take part in a sponsored sporting event e.g. boxing match, break a world record, a man vs. food challenge...
Fundraise at Home
The easiest way to help fundraise is to do it from the comfort of your own home! A small gesture can make a huge difference to Inspire – here’s a few ways you can seamlessly get involved with fundraising for Inspire. Easy Fundraising – this is an online browser app that you can enable so that when you shop online, big e-retailers will donate to Inspire every time you purchase something, and they’ll do this FOR FREE. Set up a Facebook charity fundraiser – instead of having people wish you a Happy Birthday on your Facebook wall, get them to donate to Inspire on your behalf instead! It only takes a few seconds to set up, but can soon raise a lot of money for the charity. Set yourself a challenge for later – if you’re not ready to compete in a challenge just yet, why not get in touch and we can help you get one ready in advance, giving you time to train or psych yourself up in preparation! Donate directly to us – we welcome all donations, so if you have a lot or a little to spare, we’d appreciate your help and support.
