This year, demand for Inspire’s support has increased by over 140%.
We served nearly 10,000 free meals this summer alone – as many as we did in the whole of 2024 – and expanded our outreach through our Scran Van and Adlington satellite site.
Behind those numbers are young people who rely on us – for food, friendship, support, and a safe place to belong.
But rising demand means rising costs. And we can’t meet that need without you.

Every young person deserves the same opportunity – but not everyone gets it.
We know we shouldn’t have to exist. Every young person should have access to a space where they can build confidence, make friends, talk to positive role models, and feel seen.

Lucy’s story
Lucy comes to Inspire to have fun and take part in new activities with her friends. She dances, sings, plays sports, and gets creative.
For Lucy, Inspire is where she builds confidence, enjoys a hot meal, and pushes herself out of her comfort zone.
It’s where she learns, laughs, and belongs.
Kourtney’s story
Kourtney’s journey looks different. Life isn’t always easy, and through Inspire she’s found a place where she’s listened to, supported, and encouraged to believe in herself.
She’s learned to play guitar, performed at the Chorley Light Switch-On, and even helped her team win second place nationally – taking home the sportsmanship award.
For Kourtney, Inspire is more than a youth club – it’s a second home.
