We welcomed over 70 young people and 13 incredible local businesses into Inspire for our Broadening Horizons careers event recently. A day built to show that every young person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter their background, circumstances, or what others may have assumed about them.  

From pipe engineering workshops to hands-on marketing challenges, creativity with LEGO and confidence-boosting aspiration sessions – our young people explored new possibilities that felt exciting, real, and within reach. 

For many young people, knowing what comes after school can be daunting. But surrounded by supportive role models, laughter, encouragement, and new skills learned along the way, fear turned into curiosity – and curiosity into belief. 

Because that’s what Inspire does: 

We raise aspirations. We build confidence. We help young people see a future – and believe they have the power to shape it.
