Inspire Youth Zone which officially opened only four days ago, is celebrating a phenomenal response from young people and the community, as over 2,000 young people have now registered to become members.

The latest achievement comes this week after thousands of people visited the Youth Zone’s official opening on Saturday 5th May. Young people that visited the new Youth Zone were left feeling inspired by the wide-range of quality activities available to them as members for just £5 per year and 50p per visit.

Inspire Youth Zone’s 2,000th member, Bradley Darbyshire said: “I am looking forward to playing football, using the gym and playing pool with my mates”.

The brand-new building has a wide-range of quality activities and facilities on offer for its members including indoor climbing wall, underground 3G kick pitch, dance studio, boxing studio, music room with recording studio, fully equipped gym, art room, training kitchen and much more.

Janine Blythe, Chief Executive at Inspire said “Whether young people want to take part in sports, learn to dance, improve their cooking skills, simply want somewhere to hang out or need someone to talk to, we have something available for all of our members at Inspire. As a charity, we are here to support young people to lead healthier, happier, more aspirational lives. We are thrilled knowing that over 2,000 members have now signed up and that Inspire Youth Zone is off to a flying start!”

The Youth Zone is supported by Founder Patrons, a network of local businesses and philanthropists, who support the charity’s aim to inspire young people to achieve their full potential.
