Chorley Group brought a huge smile to the face of members at the Youth Zone this week by delivering a host of toys and gifts for Inspire’s gift appeal.
As a local business and one of Inspire Youth Zone’s founder patrons, the car dealership continued it’s amazing generosity and incredible community work this Christmas by donating toys and gifts, as well as a cheque for over £400 to the Youth Zone.
The funds donated were raised by Chorley Group and local attendees of their public Christmas event, held at their Chorley showroom, with a giant snow globe and Santa’s grotto, and music and dance performances by Young People from the Youth Zone.
Chorley Group employees kindly used the run-up to the festive period to gather toys and gifts for donation to Inspire’s gift appeal.
Over 50 gifts were donated and included board games, clothes, cuddly toys and of course, no Christmas is complete without shower gel and deodorant sets.
Senior Youth Work Co-ordinator, Genna Banks, was thrilled with the donation. “It’s such a generous act by Chorley Group to give these gifts to Inspire for the gift appeal, and they’ll make all the difference to Young People in Chorley this Christmas.
“Thank you so much to everyone that has given so far.”
This week, Inspire is making one last push for their Gift Appeal before Christmas. If you can, please consider buying a second gift to donate when shopping and put a smile on a young persons face this Christmas.
