With over 5,000 young member’s, Inspire provides a safe and inspiring space for all of Chorley’s young people. Child by child, we are determined to continue transforming young lives, yet to do that we urgently need your support.
Lockdown has been difficult for a lot of us, and for some children, Inspire Youth Zone’s support has literally been life saving.
Our 100 chances campaign unites local businesses and individuals in supporting a whole generation of young people who need our help. Over the next 100 days, we urgently need 100 supporters to pledge £100 (or more) a month to help us continue transforming young lives.

In recognition of your amazing support you can expect regular updates, celebratory plaques and so much more. Take a look at our Inspire 100 chances campaign packages.
Brandon* is 17 years old and has been visiting Inspire for the past 18 months. He’s incredibly creative and enjoys mixing in small groups which helps him to manage his severe anxiety. During the first lockdown our experienced youth worker’s understood the potential impact the lockdown would have on Brandon’s wellbeing and started to make regular welfare calls – an action that would later prove to be life saving.
During one of our early calls, Brandon disclosed he was struggling massively which had led to him the previous evening to self harming and having suicidal thoughts. Inspire youth Zone immediately implemented a full action plan to help support Brandon’s specific needs.
Our support which included dedicated 1:1 youth work and professional counselling has helped him to adapt to a new way of living and our meaningful interactions has engaged him with a new purpose.
Fast forwarding to November 2021, Brandon is a completely different person – the best version of himself. Over the past 18 months he has grown in confidence, become a positive role model for our junior members and re-entered education after leaving school with no GCSE’s. He is determined to support other young people to ensure they never reach the same levels of despair that he felt and is studying for his level 2 in youth work whilst working part time at Inspire when not studying.
Our work with Brandon and in turn the support he will be able to provide many more children and young people living in Chorley is only possible thanks to incredible supporters like YOU so please join our Inspire 100 campaign today.
